A global logistics leader goes electric
When a global logistics leader starts electrifying its fleet, it signals where last-mile delivery is heading.
Blu EV and Aramex have partnered to bring swappable e-mobility into the heart of Aramex’s last-mile delivery operations in Egypt. Aramex’s fleet riders now have access to Blu EV-powered Pluto Volts and Blu EV’s battery swapping network, replacing fuel dependency with a faster, cleaner and more cost-efficient way to deliver.
Sustainability goals, met on the road
Aramex has committed to net zero by 2050, and electrifying its fleet is central to getting there. In last-mile delivery, every motorcycle that moves from fuel to electric takes tailpipe emissions off the streets its rider covers every day.
Aramex framed the partnership the same way when it announced it: a step on its way to an eco-friendly future.
Efficiency that doesn’t wait for a charge
For last-mile logistics, downtime is never an option. Charging a battery can take hours. At a Blu EV Battery Swapping Unit (BSU), a rider exchanges a depleted battery for a charged one in 60 seconds or less and gets straight back to deliveries.
With no fuel to buy and no charging stops to plan around, running costs drop by more than 30%, and total cost of ownership by up to 50%, compared with fuel-powered two-wheelers.
Built for operational reality
Battery swapping is what lets electrification keep pace with last-mile delivery. That is why it is the infrastructure this industry needs, and why Aramex’s riders in Egypt now run on the Blu EV Ecosystem.
